Taking an exam with APMG couldn’t be simpler. Once you’ve chosen an Accredited Training Organization (ATO) to deliver your certification, there are several ways in which you can book an exam – so you can find an option that is most convenient for you.
APMG’s exam-booking system is designed to make your journey to becoming certified as painless as possible. For more information regarding how to take your exam – please visit our main website.
There are two main ways in which you can take an exam: on-line and paper-based exams.
Taking your exam on-line
The majority of our certifications are available to take on-line via a PC, laptop or tablet. You’ll need to check with your ATO to see if they provide the on-line exam option.
ATOs that do provide the on-line option will incorporate it into their classroom-based training course - utilizing our web-based exams system. You’ll then be able to take the exam on your own computer or one provided in the exam room by the ATO.
Remote Proctor Now
If you’re undertaking self-study through distance/blended learning with an ATO – you can take an exam from the comfort of your own home using our Remote Proctor Now system.
If you’ve got a computer with a webcam and high-speed internet connection – Remote Proctor Now allows you to take your exam online at a time and date that best suits you.
Pearson Vue Testing Centres
In the event you don’t wish to travel a long distance to take your final exam, APMG offers locally-based exams through the Pearson Vue network of over 400 testing centres worldwide. We currently offer all Foundation and Intermediate-level exams via Pearson centres which can be booked via your ATO.
This is an ideal option for distance-learners who wish to avoid taking classroom-based courses or having to travel long distances to take the exam.
The majority of our ATOs provide the traditional class-room based training format. The exam is taken on paper either during or at the end of the training course. If you are self-studying for your certification, you can sit your exam when you’re ready at one of our Public Exam Centres.
Public Exam Centres
If the other exam formats don’t appeal to you – you may prefer to study in your own time and at your own pace. If you’d rather self-study – you can purchase your chosen certification’s core text books from our bookshop.
Once you feel you’re ready – you can book an exam at one of our Public Centres.
